Joe Nemchik is a guitarist with experience playing with both original artists & cover bands.  His highlights include performances with John Stevens & playing as an opening act for Cas Haley.

Academically, Joe holds a five-year, dual bachelors degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston in Guitar Performance and Contemporary Writing & Production.  He has studied guitar with many notable performers & educators including: Jon Finn (Boston Pops), Tomo Fujita, Jim Kelly, fingerstyle great, Guy Van Duser and Grammy nominated, contemporary guitarist Apostolos Parsaskevas.  Joe was also chosen to perform with National Fingerstyle Guitar Champion, Pete Huttlinger (John Denver, LeAnn Rimes), in a master class format.

Nemchik has broad training & experience in composition & arranging.  He studied arranging with Grammy Award winning producer Richard Evans and studied arranging & orchestration with film & video composer/big band leader Bill Elliott.  Joe has arranged for & conducted in front of a 14-piece jazz big band.  His composition Rebirth can be downloaded on the compositions page, as played by a live studio orchestra.  He has also done extensive work arranging & "chart writing" for more compact ensembles.
